Hope you enjoy the book. 🙂

Well, you know I am tearing up at this post. I am so sorry for your loss, and its weird being a young widow – I thought my husband and I would grow old together and live out my husbands dream of retiring on a lake in the Pacific Northwest where he could fish every day.

Life is too short, no matter how long you live! Hugs.

Thanks Biz. I thought of you this weekend, too. It’s coming up on your anniversary I think, correct? Even though Tony isn’t here with you, I hope you do live out the dream you shared and retire on a lake in my neck of the woods. 🙂

I’m sorry to hear about your friend. It’s so hard when someone is young and vibrant and then they are gone so fast.

Thanks Lori. It’s hard. It’s hard not to feel confused and angry and wonder why something like this happens.

      I know, I can’t either. 🙁

I’m so sorry for your loss. This was a very lovely post to remember your friend by, and my heart goes out to Dawni and you and all of those involved.

Thank you for the kind words Hannah. What has been nice is all the outpouring of support and love for Dawni. Reading the posts was nice, giving insight to their favorite memories of Chad and seeing a new side to him. He lived a short life but apparently touched a lot of people and that’s a sweet reminder.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We’ve had several good friends pass away recently – one very suddenly, the other after an illness. It’s hard not to ask why him or her. I keep thinking, “but we are not supposed to die in our 40s…”

I like Michael’s post; I think it is so important to let people that are gone live on through memories and stories.

It’s strange isn’t? When someone dies so young. You’re right, it’s hard not to wonder why them.

I agree, Michael’s post was sweet and summed Chad up nicely.

So sorry for your and Michael’s loss. Chad seems like a very good friend, one everyone should have at least 1 of.

These things always makes you appreciate life more.

It sure does, Fran. And yes…Chad was a great person and a good friend to a lot of people. It was heart-warming how many people were touched by him during his short life. It was a pleasure reading everyone’s personal stories about it.
