Haha, that was great! I definitely get the runner’s high, but I wouldn’t compare it to a drug or alcohol high – and especially not to the face of someone with a problem with those things!

I’ve had two surgeries in my life and the drugs they gave me during that is as close to heroin as I’ll ever get! 😛 I don’t know that it was like the runner’s high but the clip cracked me up.

I thought it was pretty hilarious. I’m also a big Artie fan. 😉

So true! I haven’t tried heroin, either, but I have never experienced a runner’s high. I’ve felt proud of myself for finishing my run when I wanted more than anything to quit, but as far as I can tell, “runner’s high” is a myth.

Or, you know, maybe it’s something real runners experience. I’m a super-wimpy, slow, short-haul runner. 🙂

Hey, there is nothin’ wrong with being a slow, short-haul runner! That’s what I am! 🙂

I’ve had the runner’s high many times and it IS pretty awesome. Don’t know if it’s like heroin but….. 🙂

I’ve experienced a runner’s high I think once after I did a sprint workout on a track for almost an hour. I was practically delirious and I sometimes get workout highs and I’m super giddy and all over the place but while it’s my “drug” of choice I doubt it’s anything like a real drug 😛 Or else wouldn’t more people be hooked on working out and being healthy than with serious drug addictions? 😛 I give the trainer an A for effort 😉

A sprint workout will do it! I’ve experienced it before with sprints!

I’m definitely addicted to the “endorphin high” that working out gives me. It takes more to get it though.
