    Good job, woot! I ran my first race this weekend (Beat the Blerch – so much fun, you should come up to WA for it next year!) and I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. I was *this* close to bailing two weeks ago when I realized it was coming up and I hadn’t trained, but I’m so glad I did it. Now I know why people enter races, it’s so motivating to keep running when you’re surrounded by others.

      I saw your photos on IG! Congrats to you guys too! Yes, it is very motivating to have a date to focus on and there is excitement to race day and everyone running together! I also love seeing people of all ages and body types getting out there and doing it!

      My dad placed #1 in his age group. It just goes to show you can do it at any age!
