Haha I wish I had a good answer to that question!

My hobbies include reading, writing (besides just the blog) and hiking, but I honestly don’t do enough of any of those. I’ve actually been wanting to read that book you have!

The book was slow to start and I was almost going to give up, then it got pretty good. I’m reading the last 100 pages or so and it’s really good now!

I think hobbies are so important! Im glad you realized some of yours were slipping down the list and made an effort to put them back up!

I like to read, dance, bowl and watch sports!

  3. Lori (Finding Radiance)

I find that I rotate my hobbies around to fit them in. Working out takes time, but I also make sure that some of that workout incorporates fun (like weekend bike rides or biking to yogurt).

I find that I can waste a lot of time on the computer, so I try to unplug early to read or go out in my garden.

You really do have to schedule in fun activities.

I waste a lot of time on the computer too–especially when it comes to watching Netflix!

I hear ya on the hobbies, and I haven’t even really been working out that much! I used to scrapbook a LOT and now there are cobwebs on my supplies. I’m actually thinking of donating most of it to SCRAP in Portland!

Our cat does that too when we’re outside. We call it “window washer.” Too funny.

I can send you Audrey Niffenegger’s new book that I just finished. It’s a good quick read, tho not as good as TTW. I’ve been thinking about reading the “Girl” books though it’s not really my genre.

    Way to find balance!

I’ve never heard of Audrey Niffenegger but I am always in search of good books and new authors! 🙂 My friend lent me the first “Girl” book and while it was slow to start, it got pretty good.

My scrapbooking stuff is gathering dust too. 🙁

Ryan just finished that book, so I’ll probably read it when we get home and I get through the 2 books my friend gave me “the godmother” and “the stepmother” by Carrie Adams (girly books). I don’t have a lot of hobbies either and am working on “reading” as a hobby. I need something that occupies my mind so I don’t get hung up on the other stuff.

I’ll get on the wagon soon. Today is fun in the sun and tomorrow is driving back home. I have a feeling that the scale will frighten me when I get home…..But at least on Friday, I’ll be at a relay for life and can walk all day.

You might be pleasantly surprised by the scale!

My big struggle is not wasting time on useless stuff like Facebook or playing soduku on my iPod. 15 minutes so easily turns into an hour with things like that.

I’m a big reader…love, love, love books. I scrapbook, as well, although I’m so far behind.

Good call …. I waste a lot of time on FB, Twitter, and playing scrabble games. 😉

Audrey Niffenegger wrote The Time Traveler’s Wife. I LOVED it and read it twice (something I rarely do), but I know other folks who were just sorta “meh” about it. The movie was ok (what with Eric Bana in it wouldn’t be?), but the book was better.

I think I have that book! I haven’t read it yet and the movie is in my Netflix queue.
