I would have done the float tank across the border in Vancouver if they had them there. With some slow flashing multi-colored strobe lights, some guitar rock music and after sharing a blunt. Then your stream of consciousness would have reached Nirvana. At least that’s what I’ve heard;)

Oh I am sure a lot of the patrons of Float On are partaking in something to enhance their experience….I think I’m okay going in as is. 🙂

I went to the Float Shoppe on 23rd, and it was amazing. I did the infinity tank, and seriously it was the best ever. I got a groupon for acupuncture/float combo, and I am waiting for school to start back up to cash it in. It seriously is so relaxing and calming!!!!!

What is an infinity tank? That sounds interesting!

Check out the different tanks they have–the infinity is like a giant bathtub–all open–totally amazeballs!!

That’s interesting. I don’t think I could do it because I have a fear of drowning and being in a tank would probably not be a good thing for me LOL! I do know how you float in salt water, though, at the ocean – it’s crazy!

I understand your apprehension but it was really just like being in a big bathtub.

I have never even heard of a float tank but it sounds amazing! I’d want the bigger tank as well 🙂

    hi lisa,
I live in mass. and not sure if they even exist out here but I was wondering how expensive is this experience?

    1. Lisa Eirene

I bought a Groupon for I think $20 or $25 for one session (90 minutes). I think the regular price is around $50 but Float On here in Portland has specials and deals if you buy a few at one time. I hope you can find one near you!
