    Fun! Loved the pics.

I am not sure if you have tried kayaking with him yet. We get single, sit ON’s normally. But when we kayak with a very young one, we put a strong guy in a double with the kid.

And if there are a bunch of us, we give the kid the water and snacks, and then the rest of us “pull up” for refills. Fun for them.

(And we put everything valuable in double plastic and a dry box, and lash everything extra with us. And we all have good quality water shoes. And we use half gloves made for lifting.)

We haven’t tried to kayaking with him yet but it’s something we want to do. We want to get kayaks. Logan has had some swim lessons but not much. He starts up again soon! Hopefully next summer we can practice kayaking!

Great that you like your Merrells – I love mine! I got mine first, then had to buy a pair for Hubby and my daughter. SO comfy, but great support. The older pictures from your previous hike sure show how fast kids grow and how swiftly the time passes, don’t they! He’s such a cutie 🙂

Great! So far I love the new boots. They were comfortable but I felt supported and I didn’t slip on the trail (it was very slippery) like my hubby did (he was wearing his old Vasque boots). So that’s a good sign.

They do grow fast, don’t they!?!?

Sounds like a fun day! Your beaches look so different than ours in Florida the sand is so dark and there is never anybody at the beach.

Haha there were actually a lot of people at the beach. I just tried to get shots without them. 😉
