Logan is so darn adorable! I swear by probiotocs, I takes the “pearls” and have a clean gut. It just kills all the nasty festering bacteria. I buy mine thru vitacost.com

Agreed! I think probiotics are awesome! I drink Kefir (I love the Trader Joe’s brand) and I’ve also taken the pearls before and had a good experience.

Thank you for info, I’ve been looking for a switch from mine I’ve been taking for years, and need a vegan capsule so gonna check super bio out.

Be sure to up your fiber intake too, that’s what feeds the good bacteria! There’s a lot of really good info on it – and on other interesting health stuff – in this podcast (that I just relistened to on a hike this week), definitely recommended: http://www.richroll.com/podcast/rhonda-patrick/

Also, ugh, we’re sooo not looking forward to this aspect of Nora starting daycare. We’re keeping her home for a little while longer until the worst of the flu season is over since it’s so bad this year and we have a newborn in the house.

      That’s a great tip, too!

Good luck with daycare. It’s good you can wait a little while longer. I’ve read that this is the worst flu season in a long time. I hope you guys fair better than we did!

My son has the stomach bug right now and the first thing we did was go out and get him probiotics

Good call! I’ve been experimenting with probiotics with Logan, too. I got some powdered kind for babies and lately I’ve been trying a drop version for babies. I’m hoping that helps him, too.

My granddaughter is two. She started daycare part time a few months ago, and she is sick all the time now Ugggh! Probiotics are a good idea. Thank you for posting this!

Happy to help! Give it a try. Those poor little babies in daycare! It’s the worst. 🙁
