This is totally right up our alley and definitely another PRO in the Move to Portland column (we also saw the CSI exhibit there and had a blast!). Good for you for having a Groupon!

Wow that looks like such a fun event! Fondue is one of my favorites, too – my family always used to have it for Christmas Eve every year when I was a kid. Now that my sisters have kids, things are a little more spread out, but I hope we do it again this year!

I went to OMSI for a night event after that was part of a conference I attended last year. Very cool. Got to have pumpkin ice cream that was made before my eyes through the freezing power of liquid nitrogen. How cool is that?

That sounds really awesome. I bet they do something like that at the next one in the spirit of Halloween!

We visited Portland numerous times visiting my aunt and cousins when I was a child. OMSI was one of the places we went each year and I’d love to go back. I had forgotten about eating at the Rheinlander until I saw your photo. The cheese fondue was delicious!!
We have an arts and sciences museum here in Macon GA, but it’s not comparable to OMSI.
