I’m surprised I didn’t put nachos on my last meal menu. My mind must be slipping.

Is this a new Dorian Gray or the old black & white one?

Book nerdy Oscar Wilde high five!

      High Five!!

I watched the newest version. The old version is good too. Both are worth a watch if you like the stories.

My boyfriend and I set a limit of $150 each this year, and we like buying a bunch of small stuff so there’s lots of things to open. I like setting a limit because its too easy to go crazy otherwise, and neither of us has money to throw around!

$150 is a reasonable limit. That would be a good limit for us too because then we could get each other higher priced fitness items that we want. For example, most of the cycling stuff Michael wants/needs is in the $100-150 price range. I want a Garmin someday–which is around that price.

For us we decided to set a really small budget this year and instead of going crazy at Christmas go on vacation in January. I’m looking forward to it!

I love Dorian Gray! I have never seen the movie, but I just recently read the book again!

I normally don’t set a budget for xmas but I really need to!

Uh oh! You just activated my “I wants some nachoes” mechanism. Husband will have to make them for me now.

Hehe! Then my work here is done. 🙂

My husband didn’t want to set a budget. He said it took the fun out of everything. 😉 But we agreed that getting carried away with presents wouldn’t be good for our finances… and it’s not what Christmas is all about. So, yes, we did set a budget. Oh, and those nachos look AMAZING!

I agree Nicole! The holiday season is more about spending time together!

    Good Looking Nachos.
Hmm, have I been good this year?
I would say I started out good, but haven’t been so good lately.
(I’ve gained back 20 of the 35 I lost!) ugh

I need to find good again.

You WILL find good again. It’s easy to get derailed when things aren’t going right.

because I decided what the definition of ROCKED was 🙂

See you’re smart…you don’t set super high expectations that you can’t reach. I tend to set myself up for failure in that aspect. 🙁 I need to work on being realistic.
