Thanks Kenz! We had a good time. It was good to see the family and spend time with them.

Did they figure out what the problem was?

Thank goodness you had hot water! I cannot take a cold shower. There’s no way.

We had a nice weekend, but we’re both sick. It’s almost 5 pm, and I’m still in my robe and jammies. Sad. The weather sucks so not like we’re missing anything.

We gotta get better b/c we plan on the first snowshoe trip of the season on Friday!

    Merry Christmas!

Luckily it was something wrong with the PGE line so it costs us nothing! Christmas miracle!! We were prepared to pay my friend the electrician for whatever repairs but he realized immediately it was PGE’s issue and he called in a favor from someone he knows there. The PGE guy arrived shortly after that. We temporarily have everything back on until they can come back and fix the underground line or whatever was wrong with it…

I’m sorry you’re sick. That is such a bummer! Maybe too much food? I felt a little icky yesterday from eating too many Christmas cookies. šŸ™‚

I hope you’re well enough to go snowshoeing. We’re going this Friday too! Mt. Hood! Where you headed?

I may have gotten my first headache from Chex Mix which has MSG but it was homemade so I thought the amount might be ok. There were a couple other factors, but I had no alcohol so it wasn’t that. It might have been hormonal, and Chris and I definitely have bad head colds. We’re doing a lot of sneezing, and we sound like people who do fake voices to sound like they’re sick.

If we’re feeling better, we’ll head towards Snoqualmie on Friday, and then razor clamming on Saturday. Otherwise, we’re sorta playing this whole week by ear.

Oh man that sucks. I hope you guys beat it fast so you can have some fun (and some positive distractions like snowshoeing)…Hope you feel better!

ugh i hate power outages! we had one last year for a solid 12+ hours when it was super cold out-no fun at all! but Christmas would be worse!

Argh how annoying. Sounds like you made the best of it with bed and extra blankets! Glad to hear you had a good holiday!

Sorry to hear about the power! At least it was warm enough
where you didn’t have to leave all together. We would never make it
without heat – would have to drain the pipes and go to a motel.
Sounds like a lovely day! (we had pot roast, too!).
