    Hi Lisa, I must say that I am very impressed by your upper body strength. I could go to the gym right now and offer a “raise your own bicycle above your head challenge” to every person in the gym and I seriously doubt that 3 percent of the ladies and maybe 15 percent of the men would be able to do this. Then that pic of you eating pizza showed why you can. You have some serious guns there. Very impressive!

      You made my morning, Marc! Thank you for the compliment. My bike is an entry level road bike, so it’s lighter than a mountain bike or hybrid but it’s still not light. It has to be at least 20 something pounds. I attribute 75% of my upper body strength to SWIMMING. I’m a really fast, strong swimmer and that has developed my arms and shoulders. The rest is weightlifting (when I do it consistently)…
