Your reading goals kill me! I’ve been slacking off so hard these last few years. My book goal for this year is to read twelve books. I figure that one a month isn’t too daunting, and it won’t require a large time commitment.

      Thanks. πŸ™‚
A book a month is a good start. It helps if the book isn’t HUGE! (Like Game of Thrones…!)

2016 was certainly quite a year for you! Now that you are more “settled” for lack of a better word, I bet you will do great on your goals!

Thanks Lori! I do feel more settled. We’ve got a pretty good routine going…of course, it changes often as Logan grows and changes, but for the most part things are working well. I do feel like I can focus more on things now than I could before.

Looking to lose 20lbs this year! This is my 4th week of more serious attention to breaking a sweat.

I think I literally read 3 books this year – I don’t know where you find the time!

    Good luck with your goals!

Good for you!! You got started on the resolutions early! πŸ™‚

My TBR list is huge, too! I need to narrow things down or make categories of where I heard about them because I add so many recommended ones to the list just because they are recommended or popular, not because I actually read the synopses. πŸ™‚

I usually read the synopses and if it sounds half way interesting I add it to my list and then I periodically go through it and delete things I don’t think I’ll ever get around to reading.

Part of the issue for me is that I read probably 80% of the books on my kindle through my library so if my library doesn’t have books I want to read, it just sits on my “to read” list FOREVER!

Sounds like you have great, reasonable and balanced goals for 2017, Lisa. Wednesdays with Logan sound like they will be such a treasure, because, before you know it, that little guy will be heading off for kindergarten!

I had a goal of 50 books for this year and actually finished 53. Like you, my “for later” list at the library and on Amazon is getting WAY out of control. Some of that I can blame on you, too – you have such good suggestions. My goal this year is 55 books, a modest increase, but I want to primarily read off my later list. Of course, I went into the library on Tuesday to pick up a book that was in, and my eye was immediately caught by something on the teaser shelf πŸ™ But I held firm and walked right past. It’s hard! I want to read all.the.books!

Good luck with all your goals for 2017

Thank you for the comment Emmaclaire! I’m excited about my Wednesdays with Logan. I already have the first few weeks booked with playdates and possibly swimming lessons. We’ll have to work around naps schedules but I think it will be fun.

Good job on your reading goals for 2016! Haha, sorry to add to your list. πŸ™‚
