I LOVE spicy!!! The spicier the better!!!

My friend that just released her first cookbook makes some poppers that are awesome! The recipe is on her site (www.marlasarris.com). I love that it includes a small slice of date, so you get a bit of sweet AND spicy. It’s awesome. I actually don’t like bacon–so I always request she makes a couple for me that doesn’t have it. 🙂

Thanks for the tip! I will check out that recipe. I love the idea of sweet and spicy.

Those little poppers are so cute! And your salad sounds delicious.

I was never into spicy food…but then I worked at a Thai restaurant for 3 years and grew an insane tolerance for spiciness 🙂

That’s quite the change in palate! I love spicy. The spicier the better. But I met my match at a local restaurant here, Pok Pok. Holy crap. They brought out collard greens and ice chips with my dinner, it was that hot.

I love jalapenos, spicier the better! Don’t eat bacon, but those poppers might be equally good with turkey bacon.

They would be great without the bacon entirely, too.

A local fish n chips places does these, but without the bacon and using red peppers and they are divine! My typical order there is now 1 piece of fish and 1 order of poppers…lol.

Interesting! That’s a good idea too.

My peppers get hot if I don’t water them very much. If they get a lot of moisture, the spice gets literally drowned out. I’m sad because last year I had super spicy peppers, but this year we over-watered since it was so hot outside. The other plants loved it, but it definitely took the spice away.

    They are SO good!

I’m also a BIG fan of strawberry jalapeno jam. YUM. I can’t wait until my peppers get harvested!

I did not know that. I wonder if we over-watered last year….

Thanks for the link! I will check that one out.

Great podcast! I didn’t know that there were so many WL podcasts out there. Actually, I’m a bit envious, your boyfriend sounds so supportive! I’ve only had one supportive partner regarding weight loss and that was a long time ago.

Thank you John! I appreciate the compliment. I haven’t listened to my podcasts yet because I hate hearing myself talk but someday I will….I had no idea there were weight loss podcasts either. I’m going to catch up on the ones I’ve missed.

Yes, Michael is very supportive and I am so glad I found a partner who helps me out. It makes a world of difference.

Yummy, yummy! I love poppers and I *love* hot stuff! I just got some buffalo wing extra spicy cheddar from Cabot and it is to die for!

LOVE spicy! I’ll add jalapenos to almost anything.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Try adding jalapenos to your homemade guacamole next time. To die for!

Ahhh–I go nuts for anything and everything spicy. Going to have to try pickling my own jalapenos! Thanks for commenting on DNDD–I love your blog.

Have you ever tried green olives stuffed with jalapenos? Holy moly that’s spicy (and so good)!
