Looks great! Our downstairs powder room is in desperate need of painting…

It seems like a small project but damn, once you get started it sure isn’t!

It looks lovely! I am not surprised you are sore. Rehab work always work muscles you forget you have – even when you work out regularly! It’s the same thing with the first gardening of the year. It gets my hammies every single time no matter how many squats and hamstring curls I do 😀

Oh man, yeah, hamstrings doing gardening work is brutal. It always gets me. Doesn’t matter how many squats I do in the gym. Weeding does me in every time.

So super random factoid for you, but the reason your paint is named a weird name is because it is one of the National Trust paint colors. Basically, any of the paint samples with that National Trust seal at the top of the sample card were matched from an actual historical location. In your case, Montpelier Madison White is the exact same color as the “white” in Montpelier (home of James Madison). I used to work in the Lowe’s paint department and always thought that was kind of cool. So, your bathroom is a very historical color!

Ha! Interesting! I figured the name came from something historical but yeah I had no idea. Thanks for that tidbit. My bathroom is historic. LOL

Looks great!! Paint always looks so different on the walls. We have a few sample patches painted because this summer we need to paint the whole living room, kitchen and master bedroom. I am NOT looking forward to it lol!

It’s frustrating how different it looks once you paint it. You really don’t know what you are picking until you do all the work and let it dry!

Looks awesome!! I don’t always enjoy the work on home improvement projects but the end result is always worth it!!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Yes! I feel so great even though I feel exhausted and run down today. Just knowing it’s done and I love it makes me feel happy.

That looks great! I am so not handy. I need work done around my house, but I’ll probably end up hiring a professional to do it, otherwise I’ll spend 3 times the money and it will take me 10 times as long!

    1. Lisa Eirene

It does end up taking more time and money when you do it yourself often times. Especially if you make mistakes that are costly! Some of the projects are easily DIY but like our kitchen counters? We are hiring a professional to do that soon!

The new bathroom looks very good, very warm and inviting. Great improvement.

What kind of dog is Bella? She’s so cute. Funny is that I use same kind of dog blanket in the back of my car for my Bella.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Bella is a black lab/pitbull mix.

Good for you! It is always nice to make the improvements while you are still in the house so you have a chance to enjoy them…and you definitely deserved a burger and fries after all of that.
