Glad you are on the mend!

I have a hybrid bike so that I don’t lean as far forward as with a road bike. It’s much more comfortable for long rides and I am not concerned about speed, so a hybrid with thinner tires works be for me. When I hurt my back, cycling was the first thing I could get back to, although no hills for a while.

I used Michael’s old hybrid bike before I bought my road bike. It was slightly too big for me so when I stopped at lights and stuff it was awkward and I had to try and keep from falling over. But it was a comfortable ride. I should probably consider getting a hybrid since we don’t do “races” any more and I’m not too concerned about speed.

Glad to hear your back is feeling better.

And how nice that you can bike to work. It is possible for me and I tried it once but I got lost. I don’t bike much and didn’t know how to get to work on the bike (by car I use the highway). It was a one time attempt 🙂

Haha I hope you can try again and figure it out. I do love biking to work. Getting a Workout + commute in one shot is awesome for the schedule! 🙂
