This a very good round up post about some of your popular posts. As far as losing weight is concered, yo did a great job of not just losing the weight but also maintaining it which is the real challenge. I visited your first post and although you have not mentioned a lot about how you did it in the first post but it shows the happy feeling you got in losing the extra pounds.

I had gained around ten pounds last year but I managed to lose it before it was too late.

Glad you were able to lose the weight before it got out of hand.

    Congratulations on your blog anniversary.

I enjoy your blog a lot, especially when Bella is involved in your blog.

I had to look up when I started blogging which is June 2009. Can’t believe I’m doing it this long already.

Look forward on following you in the future.

Thanks for posting this recipe on my blog. We’ll give it a try! It looks good (but doesn’t everything that includes bacon?!?). 🙂

I’ve loved reading you all these years and can’t wait to hear about motherhood!

Aww that’s awesome! My first post on your blog. 😀
I’ve enjoyed reading your blog since I started. I’m always impressed with your dedication to fitness and cooking and living a balanced life. I like that you do it in moderation and enjoy a good beer or glass of wine and still manage to lose or maintain weight. I think that’s a really important message for people amidst so many blogs that are just veiled restrictions and excessive exercise. We need more REAL examples of success (like you!).

I love your blog and keep up with it as best I can. I appreciate that it isn’t just about weight and fitness, it’s about living a balanced life. Family, job, fitness, food, entertainment. I remember I started reading your blog at the beginning a few years ago and it was fun to “binge read” and watch things change over time. I had to force myself not to look ahead to see if Michael ever popped the question, and gave a little hoot when I got to that entry! And, of course, I love the book reviews. I just finished “Still Missing” and I don’t know how you made it all the way through while being pregnant – subject matter was disturbing to me, and I’m not managing hormonal sensitivity. It was a good read, though – thanks for the recommendation. I hope you’re able to find time to continue blogging, in some form or another, after Baby comes.

Thank you so much for the nice comment EmmaClaire! 🙂 I am happy that you’ve enjoyed the more balanced aspects of my blog. That was my goal…showing that life can still be fun (and sometimes indulgent) even while losing or maintaining weight loss. It’s all about balance.

Yes I finished Still Missing and it was a really good book but YES it was hard to read. There were many times I had to put the book down and give it a rest for a bit because of the hormones and the subject matter!
