They have an awesome miso-ginger broth in a box, and I combine that with their chicken cilantro mini wontons, and maybe some edamame or kale. It’s a fast lunch and really yummy!

Also, they make a plain organic lowfat yogurt that is the BEST – not as tangy as other plain yogurts, but no added sugar either. I can’t figure it out. It’s in a 32-ounce container with a cow on it.

I also like to get butter from them when I can, and some of their sausages are good too!

Thanks for the tips! I will check it out next time I’m there.

These are great Trader Joe’s choices! While I don’t shop there regularly either, I’m a big fan of their special fall items. I can’t seem to resist their pumpkin muffin mixes, hot chocolates, and other holiday goodies.

They had a huge display of everything pumpkin when I was there. I was intrigued by the pumpkin salsa but didn’t buy a bottle. It sounded interesting but at the same time, slightly weird!

The nearest TJ’s to us in an hour away. Probably a good thing because I seem to get so much snackie stuff there LOL! I love the Speculoos cookie butter and the different flavor cashews.

Oh I agree! I tend to buy snacky things there, too. But the cookie/snack type options are usually pretty low in calories (like the chocolate cat cookies) so that’s good.

produce at our Trader Joes (Boston area) is definitely cheaper than the other supermarkets but the selection is smaller

    things I always pick up:
Healthy 8 chopped veggie mix – great for adding to a bag of lettuce for a robust salad
bagged spinach/kale mix or baby arugula – so much cheaper than my regular supermarkets!
    greek yogurt
    Hatch Valley green salsa
    refried black beans
    TJ jarred pizza sauce
    fire roasted frozen corn
    fire roasted peppers and onions
any of the grain + veggie frozen medleys – so easy for a side dish
frozen brown rice – another easy dinner time saver
and in December I always buy the candy cane Jo Jos!

last visit I picked up a bottle of the Chili Lime seasoning blend and I’ve been using it on everything – jicama, smashed avocado, cauliflower rice, hard boiled eggs

oh! and I forgot the beet hummus! so so good!
      LOL
I think I need to make a trip to Trader Joe’s soon.

I get a lot of that stuff, too. And I agree, the Chili Lime seasoning is great!
