What a great way to spend New Years Day hiking!! You are so lucky that you all are able to do that. I would of loved to hike on New Years Day. It was 85* here !!!!! and I am not kidding you. Today we have on our A/C. That’s Central Florida for you in the winter. Oh and by the way, the black eyed peas look delicious never had them with parmesan cheese. In the south, we eat them with collards and cornbread.

    Hello Lisa,
I myself got sick too with colds and fever. I normally do not get sick easily, i guess it is the cold season that sets it and everyone seems to be coughing.
Wow the black eyed peas look great and very healthy.
