It should be a bit warmer today. It’s 77* down in Corvallis!

    your lettuces look great, Lisa!

I have always just “torn” my lettuce, grown or store bought… the only time I cut is when I’m actually chopping a head of iceberg 😀 do you spray your garden with chemicals?

    1. Lisa Eirene

Oh good. I’ll keep tearing it.

We have no chemicals on our garden. Do you? I want to avoid chemicals the best I can. The only thing in there is Sluggo on the dirt.

oh, no – no chemicals here… I just wash with water – your wash looks heavy duty! 🙂

It was cheap at Trader Joe’s and I was using it on the stuff I bought at stores. But I figured it was good for my garden produce too.

The only thing flourishing in my garden right now is my dill. Blech. And I need to cut it back. Planning on using it on some sole later this week. My greens are super tiny. Just a leaf or two right now. My basil is trying to survive. No signs from my squash yet.

I don’t know what to really look for yet in my garden. I have squash and zucchini…how will I know it’s ready?

Your lettuce looks great! What happened to the bunny?

Don’t wish for warmer weather – you might just get it! In middle GA it’s been in the mid-90’s since the middle of April, and is now over 100. The good thing is that I have lots of tomatoes and the basil is flourishing.

Haven’t seen the bunny since last week. They frolic around a lot though.

It rarely gets in the 100’s here in Oregon. It’s pretty mild weather.
