AWESOME workout and calorie burn! I am glad to see your running is still going ok!!
I love most live music. It is kind of weird how I might not enjoy a certain genre of music on the radio- but live I can love it. Does that sound crazy? We go to the art museum sometimes for free concerts!!

That doesn’t sound crazy. I’m the same with sports! I hate it on TV but enjoy it live. Art museums are a great place for events. The Portland Art Museum often has free evenings–which is great!

I love jazz! I used to go to the jazz festival in Chicago every summer. Some years ago, Bill Frisell did a jazz instrumental version of “Imagine” – it’s wonderful.

I went to the Blues Festival in Chicago and LOVED IT! It was so much fun! I would love to go back to Chicago and see their jazz festival.

Being a musician – I love lots of different kinds of music. Classical especially, but I love jazz as well. We have a jazz fest that goes on at the Lake in the summer. It’s small, but we enjoy going. We actually were going to go to a free classical concert yesterday, but there was no seats left for us to sit together! Always great to have a full house like that for classical music, even though we didn’t stay 😀

That is great that it was packed! There was a huge crowd for Bill Frisell but then most left right afterward. I’d say there were only about 15 people for Charlie Hunter–which was sad because I thought he was the more entertaining speaker.

It was. Saturdays are good for my long, intense workouts. It’s nice.
