oooh I love wine tasting! My favourite at the moment would be Durif – which is a big bold red!

This post totally makes me miss Oregon! I only lived there a short time and there is so much I missed seeing and doing!

I actually don’t drink any wine. I’ve heard NZ has some great ones so I’ll try to experiment and find one I like in the future.

You can always come back and visit! I’ve had some really yummy NZ wines…

I love wine! I went to Hood River to go wine tasting a few weekends ago, but I haven’t tried Quenett yet.

At the moment, I love Rieslings and Gewurztraminers. Especially Palotai’s Riesling, and Tualatin Estate’s Semi Sparkling Muscat.

I seem to prefer Gorge wines to the McMinnville area wines but Tualatin does have a lot of good ones.

    Hey!
I just stumbled across your blog earlier and I just wanted to say I really enjoy it! Your pictures are really good too. I just started my quest to drop down a century mark last week (I’ve been doing WW for a while and I just set this goal) and I have 97.2 pounds to go. Keep up the good work! Oh… and a toss up between Gewurztraminers and Pinot Noir.

Good call on the Gewurztraminers. I like those a lot too! Good luck on your journey. How much have you lost so far?

I wish I could drink wine, but I’ve tried several different kinds and I just can’t seem to like it.

    I think I’m just a little kid.

Wine is definitely an acquired taste. When I first drank it I disliked it a lot. All it took was a really nice (and expensive) Oregon Pinot Noir to convert me. πŸ™‚

Those bottles of wine look so cool!! I love the shape.

I am a huge fan of all types of wine. My go-to bottle is Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. You can find it for $10 a bottle so its a great everyday (well not EVERY day) sort of wine, and its dry but still fruity and delicious.

Trader Joe’s has an excellent selection of affordable wines. I think I’ve seen that one there!
