Ahh i hope you feel better soon! Grilled cheese and soup are definitely comfort foods in my book! 🙂

That sandwich looks amazing. I wish I could pull it out of my computer monitor and have it on my desk! It’s perfect for the cold weather outside! I’m glad you are feeling better…I did the exact same thing last week with the flu (minus having an uber cute kitty to keep my company). Community and The Office took good care of me!

As for a good movie…hmmmm. Tough one. Star Trek is out on netflix and that’s always a good one. Wild Hearts Can’t be Broken is an oldie, but I love it. Up is also on netflix and a favorite. Hopefully those help!

Star Trek remake was a good one. I need to watch that again.

Are you still at home? That’s no bueno.

Love Fat Kitty! Am I wrong or do you have another kitty too? Other Kitty gets a lot less media attention. 🙂

We haven’t watched movies in forever (we have other ridiculous time killers, as you can see). I’m catching up on Mad Men from the beginning and finally getting to see the recent season of Dexter. Man, we missed our Dexter.

Plus, this is so annoying, our DVD player can play new exercise DVD’s but has gotten too sensitive to play been-around-the-block Netflix DVD’s so we have to watch them on the computer. I can’t remember the last time a Netflix DVD would play on the DVD player. Errrgh.

Last season’s Dexter was AMAZING. We aren’t caught up yet on the current season.

We do have another kitty–Maya. But we rarely see her. She’s a scared-y cat and doesn’t come out much. As for being home today, it was a pre-planned vacation day that I just happened to fall during my sickness. Bah! But it’s one more day of healing.

I hope you get better! My favorite movie that I’ve been needing to watch again recently is The Princess Bride. 😉 No matter how sick you are it should put at least a small smile on your face 🙂

Good one!! My favorite “sick” movie as a kid was Anne of Green Gables and the Princess Bride.

I’m so sorry to hear you’re sick, and that the weather outside is ugly too! YUCK!

My favorite “sick time” movie is Dirty Dancing!

Curing a cold with bacon sounds pretty darn good to me.

Not sure what movies you like, but I can recommend some excellent that I have watched recently:

    Memento
    On the Waterfront
    Doubt

If you like the office, you might really like the TV series “Spaced” with Simon Pegg. I *loved* this series!

I haven’t heard of Spaced. Checking it out now!

Hope you are back to feeling 100% soon! Its amazing how pets ‘just know’ when you are feeling under the weather etc

  8. Jennifer is Always Sick

Sorry you were sick, but it seems like you made the most of it. I love tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. I’ve actually been eating that a lot lately as well. Hope you are feeling much improved.

By the way, just letting you know, I added you to my blogroll today. I will continue visiting often.
