    That looks great. I LOVE fresh dill in my tuna salad. More than relish, dill makes it!

    I’ll have to remember to pick up salmon the next time I’m in Costco. I haven’t gone in ages.

      Oooh I will try dill in my tuna salad next time! My friend Star adds curry powder to her tuna and that’s really good too.

    I’m not a HUGE fan of dill, but I AM a huge salmon fan!

    I make a dill dip using (light) amount of dill, lemon and greek yogurt. I’ve even used it on cold salmon! πŸ™‚

      Now that is a great idea! I was just looking for Superbowl recipes…maybe I do a dip with the dill.

      Sometimes we get the tilapia. Tilapia isn’t my favorite fish–I feel like it’s pretty bland but I like it better than halibut.

    We buy the Costco salmon too — it is awesome! We’ll often split one fillet for dinner along with some veggies and other side dishes. I’m not a huge dill fan — I like to bake my salmon with brown sugar and lemon pepper.

      I do a brown sugar and mustard mixture on salmon that works really well. It was a surprise hit too.

    I am finally starting to acquire a taste for fish, so I am always looking for new ways to eat salmon. Do you thaw this first or just cook it straight from frozen? I’ve heard you can do that with fish, but I haven’t tried it yet. Dill is really, really good on roasted carrots. Of course, it’s great when making homemade fridge pickles also! Adding some to the pot when making chicken stock is SO yummy!!

      We defrost the frozen fish before cooking it. I’ll try the dill on the roasted carrots next time. Sounds yummy!

    I am shocked that a northwestern girl is buying Atlantic Salmon. πŸ™‚

    Salmon is my favorite thing and dill just makes it better.

    These days I only eat the wild pacific salmon. After reading “What to Eat ” by Marion Nestle I find I cannot bring myself to buy the salmon at Costco or the other food conglomerates. That book as ruined my eating! – which could be a good thing. . . .but some days I miss those big hunks of salmon!

      Fish from Costco would not be my first choice but since we eat so much salmon (1-2x a week) it’s not cost effective to buy it fresh every time.

        I understand. The price is scary. I am eating less fish these last 6 months because of the dreaded budget and I miss my sushi at home!
