Yard work really can be a great workout! I love wearing my HRM for things to see how many calories I burned. I did that for cleaning my apartment the other day.. its fun to get those stats!

It is pretty surprising how many calories you can burn doing normal stuff around the house.

I love to put chicken breast into the crock pot with a jar of the Trader Joe’s salsa verde and it comes out super easy to shread. We use that for shreaded chicken tacos and taco salads.

I enjoy reading about your bike commuting. I wish I had a bike to commute to the gym and university. A simple bike seems hard to find here in Glasgow.

As far as the chicken goes, I have had best results when it’s been boiled.

Thank you Cindy! I’m glad you enjoy reading about it. Hopefully soon my ride will be more challenging.

I’ve never tried boiling chicken. How do you know when it’s done?
