Oof. That’s stressful 🙁 all this craziness is starting to sink in and I’m feeling more anxious the more I read. I stuck near home in NE Portland today but went for a walk & met up with my sister. We walked together which isn’t perfect social distancing – it’s so hard! – but at least we were outside.

I am sorry to read about everyone hitting the road & trails – apparently the coast was also jammed up. I totally get it but I think this will lead to a shelter in place mandate. And I guess we need to be told to stay home so we buy some time to figure out what’s next.

I keep imagining I don’t feel right, but hello, I am not getting proper sleep and have this underlying stress – it would be strange to feel normal!!

    Hang in there.

It is definitely starting to sink in.

Everything I read about Oregon and social distancing etc, said you can go to stores/pharmacy etc and runs/walks outside and hikes. As long as you were avoiding people. We did a good job avoiding people and thankfully the trail we picked didn’t have any other hikers on it. But I am shocked at what I am seeing everywhere else on social media. Multnomah Falls was apparently packed and people weren’t staying away from each other. It’s behavior like that that is going to get us in an official lockdown. Which is a shame because we should be able to get outside for our mental and physical health. I don’t know why soooo many people were out today. We saw a TON of cars driving to the beach as we were driving home from Stub Stewart. Nuts. No thank you. Too many people.
