I have been following you for a couple months – lurking. I started swimming because of your blog. Thanks

I am a new reader, found your blog from looking for exercises for significant weight loss (can’t really find any)… anyway… I have also lost quite a bit of weight (122 and counting, about another 90 to go). I’m going to subscribe to your blog as it’s always great to be motivated at every turn! 🙂 Congrats on your new healthier lifestyle, it certainly is a great feeling! (you mention your knees? I have issues with my back and legs, but as I’m a new reader, I’m not sure what your problems are?)

Welcome! I’m glad you found my blog. My suggestion is swimming. That’s how I lost my weight. As for my knees, it’s runner’s knee. 🙁

Hi Lisa. I am really enjoying and appreciating your blog. I have lost 100 pounds and want to lose 70 more. One of the things that inspires me about you is how you started out with exercise doing a little at a time but now you are athletic and loving it! I want to learn to love it too and be able to join my husband in his very active outdoor life. Thanks for all the encouragement you give me and so many others. Valerie

Thank you, Valerie. I’m glad you like it. I hope that it does inspire you. Sure, exercise isn’t fun in the beginning but once it gets a little bit easier and the happy endorphins start pumping, it’s great!
