Even I was like “WHAT? They’re fitting that all into one day???” Way to go! I actually love days like that where the fun never stops. We’ll have plenty of time to rest (and Lord knows we’ve rested enough in our pasts). So bummed we missed the Yelp event since there aren’t very many on the weekends, but hopefully another one will come along this summer.

I KNOW! All one day!! I was absolutely exhausted by the end of it!

PS I hope you have the need to hire a DJ SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so jealous of the “elite” yelper status you have . . . and the events that you are invited to attend!! Wow. Cute that you grabbed the DJ’s info. I didn’t miss that wink. 🙂

I’m not even sure HOW I became “Elite”!

I might have nominated you cuz I knew you’d do me proud (and we’d get to hang out).

    Many thoughts on this post:
    – You’re killing me, I totally want to try Kenny & Zuke’s now. I’ve heard great things about them!
    – BBQ: have you tried Podnah’s? I think I’m (finally!) going to get there this week.
    – Did you know Salt & Straw does a flight of ice cream? You can get 4 samples for $9. You could split it with just one other person (it’s about the same as 2 small cones, I think), but I shared it with three others and it was quite fun…if nigh-impossible to pick a favorite!
    – I think the heat in wasabe/horseradish is a nasal cavity heat, vs other spicy foods that are more tongue/throat heat. I prefer the nose-heat (think Chinese hot mustard if you’ve ever had any – it brings tears of delight to my eyes!).

I want to go to Kenny & Zuke’s too. I’m still thinking about that pastrami sandwich. Damn!

You’re the second person in a week that said I should try Podnah’s. I haven’t heard of it but I want to go there now!

Thanks for the FYI on wasabi. That’s really interesting. I definitely like HEAT in spicy food but I hate Chinese hot mustard, wasabi, horseradish, ginger…Yuck.

I’m new to it, but I definitely love it!

Looks like a great event. What a full day you had. (and I LOVE the photo with the spoons of ice cream against the wooden board! That is magazine worthy!)
    Have a great day Lisa.

Wish that one was mine! Sadly, mine didn’t turn out.
