I love reworking leftovers into something new! That sandwich looks awesome! And its crazy isnt it – it takes SO long to build up strength and endurance, but it goes away like that. So annoying!

I know! Only 7 days off from weight lifting and I lose it all? Sheesh…

I’ve got to tell ya – that pulled pork sandwich looked AMAZING. I’m salivating now! Cheers, Rick

It was so good. Words cannot describe. I am now obsessed. 🙂

I’m on the other side — I’d rather have personal trainer Barbie because it’s an inspiration to me. I’ve always felt that way. When I would go to the gym at 300 pounds it was reassuring to me to see skinny people at the gym because it meant everyone had to work at it.

I also think maintenance is easier than losing, particularly when you’re trying to lose the last few pounds.

That onion roll looks amazing! I haven’t had one in years. Nom nom nom …

I adore homemade pulled pork-we’re actually having it for dinner tomorrow!
As long as you cook it low and slow it’s pretty basic (so either a crockpot or a day where you’re home to leave the oven on for a few hours). So yummy!

If you post the recipe on your blog I’ll check it out!

I totally agree with you that The Biggest Loser is like a game show and that it is unrealistic being that they is losing the weight in a controlled environment instead of sending them back to their homes and deal with the weight in reality.
That massage of yours sounds heavenly. I’m jealous 😉

maan I need the husband to work late tonight so I can catch up on my TV watching!!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Just when you get caught up there’s more episodes!

I did watch Heavy, while on the treadmill, it helped keep me going.
I didn’t think I could watch it, sometimes it is just too hard to watch, but it was good. I worry about the guy, is it Tom? family. Why such enablers.
And, I was so glad Jodi got her mom out of the house, it looked toxic.

There were definitely moments of the show that were hard to watch for me too.

You’re right about that…keeping it off is definitely the hardest part! I am sick of the Biggest Loser — it makes weight loss too glorified. I’ve never heard of Heavy…I’m going to have to check it out!

Love your blog, keep up the great work 🙂

Thanks Nicole! People should want to lose weight to get healthy and be happy not win a million dollars (or whatever it is)!
