Thanks for the stats! Very interesting! I wish I could get 70 hours of sleep a week!!!

I detox by just getting back on my eating plan and back to exercising. I used to “play games” when I fell off the wagon. Starving myself or really restricting myself and over exercising. These behaviors usually ended up backfiring on me. (a binge) The first thing I do to detox is give myself a hug and then get back on plan. If I don’t give myself a mental hug I tend to stay mad at myself. This sometimes causes me to sabotage my efforts!

I’m glad that you’ve learned those “tricks” weren’t working. I used to restrict as well. Not necessarily as punishment for my “sins” of overeating but to get back on track. Now I just go back to eating my normal food and my doing my normal exercise routine.

The zucchini is doing really really well. I am excited about the garden doing well!

OOOH….the fresh zucchini and soup look delicious. LOVE the photos of Seattle on your last post too. I’m in Vancouver…and we are very lucky to live in a beautiful (albeit expensive) part of the world. Have a wonderful day Lisa.

Thanks for reading Roz! I love Vancouver! I went years ago and would love to go back and take our bikes.

WOW how do you live on that little sleep? I would actually die! I’m a 8 hour minimum per night, 9-10 is better. I worked yours out (from the graph) as less than 6. Not meant in a bad way, just curious if you struggle with tiredness, especially because you exercise so much.

Hey nice catch! That 40 hours a week wasn’t for me — it was the average of a “normal” person in that article. I MUST get 8 hours a night or I am a monster! 🙂
