Wow–what an awesome tweet. Just goes to show how your positive attitude, hard work and dedication have not only helped yourself, but others as well. Have a great weekend!

I was pretty tickled when I saw that tweet! I was glad the tip worked for my friend.

Yeah, despite trying to get all my Christmas shopping done in time, I still got to feeling a bit burned out. During the next week, I don’ have to work, but basically everything that would have had to be done then, had to be done now. Then of course there are all those other Christmas preparations.

Whatever you do, it seems after the holidays you need some holidays from the holidays 🙂

    1. Lisa Eirene

I agree with you. It’s like I overbook my vacations and time off and go back to work just as drained and burned out! I hope you find a way to enjoy your holiday week off and relax!

I am burned out right now, too. I don’t know why. My eating has been off and I haven’t cared too much about that (eek!). It’ll pass, I know, but I can’t work out enough to mitigate it – nor would I want to.

I think I need some days off of work, which I don’t know if I have yet. I won’t work Christmas, but I will be working on Saturday some and some on Monday.

My eating has been back and forth. Most days I’ve been pretty good but there have been several in this week alone where I was like “screw it, I’m already over my calories”! That’s not good. I need a reset!

Hope you feel better soon, and I hope you get some time off from work!

I need to get out of a rut too. I have been sucking at my healthy eating. Did so great for so long when I couldn’t exercise and now have gained 3 pounds since Thanksgiving. I think I need to really do some planning

Sorry! Isn’t that the worst? But hopefully you enjoyed the food. 🙂

This time of year is so hard! I’ve been eating way too many sweets. I need to get out of that rut, that’s for sure!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I agree! It’s the sweets! There’ve been cookies in my office ALL WEEK. And of course it’s my favorite kind so it’s hard to just walk by them 10 times a day an d not eat one.

Wow, the mexican food looks delish!

Yes, getting burnt out is a pretty good description for this month. I will welcome January with open arms!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Well put. It seems that most people are feeling this way right now! I guess it’s just the holidays catching up. I can’t wait for January. RESTART.

Sometimes the expectations are so high around this time of year, it is hard to get it all done! I have to say, that since our budget is so tight this year, all I am making is gifts from my kitchen. I haven’t stepped one foot into a retail store and instead of feeling sorry for myself that I don’t have money to shop, I have had a stress free holiday so far!

I am going off line for a couple days, but wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I definitely think unplugging is a good idea! Enjoy your time with your family and merry christmas!!
