Me too! But I have “wedding brain” right now. LOL

Distorted serving sizing is one of my pet peeves. Have you seen the new proposed labels? They are going to be more clear.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Yes!! I posted a link on my FB page last week. I love the new look. The calorie counts are bigger, supposedly they are going to change the serving sizes to be more accurate. I’m glad. Some of those labels are REALLY confusing. For example: I bought a box of graham crackers and one label says a servings is one cracker (is that one full cracker or the cracker broke in half?) and another says a serving is one FULL cracker. Confusing!

That is so sweet! I’m assuming she said yes!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Hahaha! Yes she did, although I didn’t hear it. The same thing happened to me–I didn’t say yes until Michael actually pointed out that I hadn’t said anything. LOL

Lisa, thank you so much for the beautiful write up and your support. Alexis and I are extremely grateful for your presence at The Warrior Room. I’m happy you and Michael made it out to the Landmark! Thanks again my friend!

Thank you! You two are adorable and it was cool that you included the kids in the process. Showing the next generation that love is cool, no matter who it is. Love it!

Very cute – what a great idea. I have followed your blog off and on and I am truly happy for this.

At least you got pictures of it.

You look great by the way!

Wow, that proposal took a lot of planning! So great that she pulled it off! It’s unusual that a serving size is bigger than you would expect! I usually find out I ate two servings instead of one.

    1. Lisa Eirene

No kidding! I’m impressed no one spilled the beans. I asked Alexis at the party if she had any idea but she didn’t! That’s so awesome.

Agreed, serving sizes are tricky and I’m often eating two without knowing it.

    OMGOSH THIS MADE ME SMILE.

Ha, I was going to comment about the upcoming changes to the food label too!
Our nutritional information panels are set up differently in Australia. For the most part, I think our serving sizes are reasonable and what most people would use or expect. I don’t find them to be too misleading. Although having said that, just last week I discovered the frozen pastry sheet I bought was not 1 sheet = 1 serving, but 1 sheet = 4 servings. I thought that was most odd, because all the other companies do 1 sheet = 1 serving.

Love is a many splendid thing. What a beautiful, lovely surprise for the bride-to-be. Your girls both look very happy and excited. Congratulations to them.

Wow, interesting on the pastry sheet! I’ve seen that before in other things here too. One brand serving is completely different from another.

What a great idea for a proposal – love it! Congrats to them. The thing I hate about Cooking Light magazine, is if you see any of the pies, cakes, etc., they have like 16 servings to get them under 300 calories a serving – who the hell eats 1/16th of a pie??!!

I am back at the gym too – IT FEELS SO GOOD!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Yes, the serving sizes on recipes are often way off. Sometimes the other way–some recipes I see say there are 4 servings, but I often get MORE servings than that when I make the recipe.

This post made me cry. Happy cry, but still, crying at work, boo! lol Thanks for posting. 🙂
