Great photos. Thanks for posting. I went snow showing with a friend last January in Big Bear, CA. Loved it, very good work out. Kind of dicey about which trail to take due to lack of snow, but the rental place had the whole scoop.

$14 for half a day of snow shoe rental, and the good work out, plus great scenery. Loved it. I miss xcountry skiing that I did in the mid west, but I don’t miss driving in the weather.

Snowshoeing is very cheap and a great way to spend the day. The snowshoes are cheap to rent but even spending $150 to buy your own is still a good deal and they pay for themselves with just a few excursions.

What a wonderful way to spend the day! I wish I could have done that too!

We spent part of Christmas Eve at home and part of it at my Mom’s for dinner. We had a good time, but your day sounds so much better! I’ve never been snowshoeing. Heck, I’ve barely ever even seen snow!

I’m pretty jealous of all that snow. We have squat in WI. I’m also jealous of your snow-shoe adventures, looks like a lot of fun and beautiful landscapes!

The snowfall hasn’t been much here this winter. At least so far. It was a really dry winter.
