I’m a little contrary by nature. So when I need that extra boost of energy to push through, I think of someone telling me that I couldn’t do something. This is especially poignant for me right now since several people have recently told me that I “have to run with someone else to get faster.” I think that’s complete b.s. and it’s one of the most motivating things I use right now. 🙂

That’s an excellent motivator and I’ve definitely done that…. the “I’ll show them!” motivator!
