Those peppers look amazing! I love anything with feta. The bf doesn’t usually like when I sub ground turkey in recipes but he probably wont even notice in this recipe it looks so good!

I love feta, too. I don’t think he could tell if it was ground turkey. It tasted so good I didn’t notice.

I like it when there is more mix than will fit in the peppers! My favorite is Southwestern style stuffed peppers with chicken, black beans, corn, rice and salsa or Rotel tomatoes.
The feta cheese has big flavor, but I bet it tastes great with the peppers and the spicy seasoning. I’ll give this a try.

I’ve done a southwest version before. It was pretty good. If I remember correctly it needed to be spicier, though.

I forgot how much I enjoy stuffed peppers. My wife doesn’t like them, but they were a regular part of dinner as a kid because my father grew them in the garden in the summer. Thanks for the yummy memories.

Does she not like them because she’s not a fan of peppers?

Yum!!!! I’m in love with any and all stuffed peppers. We recently tried on that had quinoa and a bunch of veggies (maybe spinach, onion, tomato??) and black beans that we really liked. I’m a big fan of feta, though, so I am definitely putting this one on our list!!

I’m sure Dublin was so grateful for his walk!! Sounds like he’s a guy who could definitely needs them to get his energy out!

Funny about Jasmine looking at her reflection!! One time my dog had a whole fighting match with himself in a mirror. It was hilarious.

When we were out looking for our second dog, we would come home and our other dog would come up and smell us and just give us this look of “I know what you’ve been doing!” and then make us feel all guilty!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I would love to try a stuffed pepper with quinoa. Your idea sounds good.

It’s funny how a lot of the dogs like their reflection. My cats were that way too!

How did you introduce the old dog to the new dog? Was it an easy transition?

I love stuffed peppers! It’s snowing in DC today, so they would be perfect.

We’re looking for a dog. It will definitely be an adventure! Any advice to new dog owners?

    1. Lisa Eirene

Not sure! I need advice myself. LOL We need a lot of training before we get a dog.

Awww….those dogs!! LOVE those photos!!! They look so happy. So do you and Micheal. Hope the job situation works out soon!

    1. Lisa Eirene

They were super happy. That’s one thing I can always look forward to: the dogs are ecstatic to be going outside with us!

Those look SO good. I think those are going to have to be made this week! 🙂

    1. Lisa Eirene

Yay! Let me know what you think.

Those dogs are so cute – especially Jasmine, I almost can’t handle looking at them! Cuteness overload. It’s surprising such awesome dogs are available for adoption. I’ve noticed where I live those types of dogs get snatched up really quickly.

Also, I’m super-jealous of your great weather! We just had another nasty snow storm and it’s super cold and windy today, which is keeping the snow from melting. I’ll never take exercising outside for granted again after this horrible winter! Glad to see you were able to get outside and enjoy it! 🙂

It amazes me that people every get rid of their animals. Working at shelters as long as I have, I’ve heard all the crappy excuses. One was a woman returned a cat she adopted because she got a white couch and the cat clashed.

No snow for us but there has been some hail mixed in our rain!

Stuffed peppers are delicious–and they sound so gourmet, too. 🙂 I like making stuffed poblanos the best. Mmmmm. Sorry to hear things at work are dragging you down. Hang in there!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I don’t think I’ve ever had poblanos before.

Yeah, work hasn’t been great but I’m trying to see a silver lining…

The peppers look awesome! You just can’t go wrong with stuffed peppers (though I’d replace that turkey with beef/lamb/sausage because I’m cool like that).

I hope you’re able to get out of that job soon. Nothing sucks the life out of you like dragging your ass to a job you hate. It really does kill your soul. Good luck.

    Cheers!

Oh yes, it definitely feels like the life is being sucked out of me!
