This looks like a really fun weekend getaway!

I always get a little nervous when booking hotels. No matter how carefully you look things over and double check confirmations, you never REALLY know whether it’s okay until you try to check in. Glad to hear everything worked out, though!

I would totally be the girl walking in and out of Fran’s, stuffing truffles into my mouth! mhm!

Definitely. No matter how many times you check the reviews on Yelp or expedia or elsewhere, you never really know until you check in and experience it yourself. Sadly, reading Yelp reviews for the hotel now show we weren’t the only ones with screwed up reservations!!

I’d love to visit Seattle some day! This all sounds like such a fun girl’s weekend: great food, drinks and lots of laughs. Sounds like the hotel did a nice job of making for their mistake–sweet! πŸ˜‰

It was a very busy weekend. Lots of good food and fun…going to wait a few days to do my weigh in though. LOL

It was a good weekend. Michael did boy things and I had a blast with Rachel.

I like riding the train from the Space needle to the mall. I also like the Pike Place Fish Market. I can get a good walk in while in Seattle. It seems like there are plenty of one way streets downtown:)

And there are lots of challenging streets if you want a workout! I forgot how steep it is near Pikes Place.

It’s so cool to have a girls’ weekend trip. We do need to have some time to ourselves besides being with our significant other.
The first and last time we visited Seattle (which was like two years ago), a friend brought us near Pike’s marketplace to eat their famous clam chowder. It was yummy. Also, they brought us to see a public wall covered with sticky used bubble gums all over. It was gross for me. They said it was a tourist attraction.

Ah yes, the gum wall. It is very gross!!

LOL this is why I do not trust other people to make plans for me! I like to handle things myself πŸ™‚

This was the first time I went on vacation via a travel agent. I usually do it all myself, too.

What a great weekend! I have never been to Seattle. Furthest out that a way for me was in Portland, which I quite enjoyed, even though it was a business trip. Coffee!!

That’s cool you came to Portland. Glad you got some good coffee too!
