I’ve actually never been a fan of wine. Definitely helps me out sometimes!

I love throwing together simple meals with beans as the protein because it takes no time at all!

Eating out is TOUGH. One tip I have is to pick which night you want to be your splurge night so that you can look forward to it and keep on track during the other nights. That’s what I try to do with guests from out of town or on vacations and it generally helps me to be ‘good’ during the non-splurge meals. Good luck!!

That’s a really good idea. I will give it a try.

It is so hard to be good when it comes to eating out, having family/friends in town, etc. If I can, I try to look up the restaurant’s menu and nutritional information online ahead of time, to see if I can figure out the healthier options. 🙂

    You got this!

Whenever I’m worried, I go with the 2 appetizer plan instead of an entree, but I think one splurge night is a good idea too.

Appetizer and salad is a good trick. I’ve done that. And soup/salad combo too. The hard part is that we are going to restaurants I love. 🙂

I’m a huge fan of green grapes. I like bigger grapes, not the little ones, and green ones tend to be decent sized.

Hooray for not going lean cuisine and actually eating REAL broccoli!

And hey, a bit of cheesecake never hurts. But yes, YOU WILL BE STRONG!

I cracked up at your “real broccoli” comment! You are so right though!
