    Great run! I’ve been doing the morning run thing as well and it’s definitely an adjustment for me.

    As for the cilantro–I have the exact same problem! A coworker recommended chopping it up into really really small bits and making a sort of mush out of it and then freezing it. Then you can just take a spoonful at a time to add flavor to items. I have so much that I think this is what I will have to do!

      I get it at Trader Joe’s. It’s soooo good!

      I think the ankle will be ok. 4.5 miles is a lot for me right now, and I was okay for the first 4 miles so I’m guessing it was just too much too soon.

    I haven’t run on a legit track in SO long! I wish I had one close to me. My schedule does change a lot in the summer. It’s usually SO hot out that I have to get out first thing in the morning, or else workout inside at my gym.

    For cilantro, you can always make it into pesto (with or without basil!). Also, look at Indian recipes. They often will use a lot of cilantro (I have a cookbook, 660 Curries, which is fantastic – although uses lots of ingredients and some recipes take time to make – but some of the recipes are fantastic!).

    You can also add them to bean salads. I’m a vegetarian and eat A LOT of bean and bean/grain salads. Like, black beans, corn, red onion, lots of cilantro and then a little lemon juice, olive oil and fresh garlic. Add quinoa to that and it’s a great lunch. (Also avocado!).

    I’ve also seen cilantro just added into salads with some other herbs – dill, basil, etc. So it’s a really fresh and tangy salad. Hope that helps! If I wasn’t in VA I’d take some off your hands.

    PS: I really enjoy reading your blog. I’ve personally lost about 50 pounds in 5 years and while it’s not 110 and counting, it’s great to see other people learning to live with a weight loss.
