UGHHH. I am right there with you. I miss running so much! It’s such a drag doing laps in the pool when the weather is beautiful outside. And to top it off, my husband WHO HATES RUNNING has started running.
Glad you had a good run and good that you are taking it slow and being cautious. I’m so anxious to start back up again, I’ll have to remember not to over-do it.

I didn’t realize how much I loved running until I couldn’t do it for a really long time. At least your time is almost up! You will be back at it soon.

I am currently on a 4-week break from running and am already missing it like crazy! I’m glad you got a chance to run outdoors – yeah for sunshine! – and, more importantly, that your knees felt good next day 🙂

I agree about being outside vs. inside – after the winter we had I am using every excuse to get out! Although today I forgot my sunscreen and a hat, so I hit up the gym. Oh well!

    Great job!

Yeah, the longer the winter the more I’m itchin’ to get outside!

I’m getting ready to start couch to 5k, so I’m hoping to be as excited about running as you are eventually. On a side note, the stuff from Trader Joe’s looks amazing. I may have to check them out. Everyone has told me they are expensive, which is why I haven’t yet.

Just make sure you have good shoes. I definitely recommend getting fitted at a running store before starting. Go slow!Slow is ok!!

I love taking a cold bath with epsom salt. It’s an amazing way to recover.

Yikes! I just can’t do the ice baths. I’ve tried and couldn’t do it. Brrrrr.

I’ve seen your comments so many times on Lori’s blog but never took the time to check your blog out untill now. How could I not like a blogger that (like me) has a dog named Bella, goes on hikes with Bella and is a runner. I like your blog and Bella is so cute, I will be back for more.
