    Nice post! I love to swim for exercise too! And, I’m glad to see you’re maintaining your weight with a decent number of calories. I’m not there yet, but I hear from so many people that they can only maintain eating 1,200-1,500 calories with daily exercise. It’s discouraging and almost hard to believe. I’m fairly tall (5’9”) and losing so far on 2,000 calories per day (I’m quite active), so I’m hoping I won’t have to drop below that, at least for now (age is definitely on my side at the moment).

      Everyone is different in their calorie needs–which is why I really suggest people see a nutritionist for some guidance. I will never be a “eat 1200 calories a day” kind of person. It just does not work for me!
