Happy New Year, Lisa! So glad we got to spend time together in 2012.

I totally agree with you about the job situation. I was so devastated to lose my job in 2010, but it was really the universe saying “You deserve better even if you don’t think you do.” I guess some changes are easier than others. I’m so grateful for my new job now and can’t imagine working anywhere else.

2013 has to be the year where I stop acting like a spoiled brat and buckle down again on my exercise and eating program. I was doing so well in 2010 even though I’ve been struggling in general ever since we moved here, and I’ve had a full-time job. I’ve really only had success when weight loss was my full-time job, but I need to figure it out this time, for real.

It’s really a matter of releasing bad habits and committing to it. That’s what the new year will be about. HNY!

Thank You Tiff! I’m glad we got to hang out so much this year. Looking forward to 2013! Maybe some wine tasting next time you guys are in town?

I agree, looking back on my “big changes” in life it was usually for the better. Sometimes we get stuck and the universe needs to shake us free. Michael definitely got a much better job. It was truly a blessing in disguise.

Good luck with you 2013 goals. I know you can do it! (and yes, sometimes my workout feels like a full time job on TOP of my full time job!!)

Maybe fresh juice tasting…I’m trying to stay off all alcohol until DisneyWorld in April. It’s not so much of a calorie thing as a migraine thing. Even tonight I’m getting together with some former coworkers, and I know if I have a drink then I won’t work out when I get home. So, no drink for me. Believe me, I’m totally fine with it.

I’ve been hitting the resources heavy for WW this time and have told myself that I have to spend extra money on precut veggies and salad that it’s worth it. Chris and I are both very busy, and I have to work within my limitations. There are definitely diet-supportive solutions to every problem.

        Happy New Year!

There is definitely something to be said about convenience. Junk food is easy because it’s convenient, but if healthy stuff is just as easy maybe it will be easier to choose those things.

          Happy New Year!

It looks like your year started on the low side and then kept going up and up. Yay! Hope that 2013 is gangbusters for you. (I am working on that post, btw).
