Awww…poor little kitties didn’t understand. AWWW. Hopefully you’ve been forgiven and the purrs are back! 🙂

Fat Kitty was pretty distant last night. I think today he’s finally getting back to normal. 🙁

I started doing a Yoga/Pilates class on Mondays just over a month ago and I love it. While I’ve been to yoga classes before, you move more and you move faster in this class and I end up a sweaty mess. Even though I was very frustrated after the first class, because I couldn’t do all the moves and had to stop several times, I have stuck with it and can definitely tell a difference in my core strength which is a problem area for me.

I hate taking my cats for procedures where they have to be put to sleep! You feel a need to explain what’s going on but there is no way to communicate it to them. Hopefully they won’t hold this against you!

That’s so cool you’ve picked it up recently. I wish my gym offered pilates. I really want to try it! And yes, I sometimes can be pretty sweaty and tired after a yoga session, especially if we’re supposed to hold certain poses for a really long time.

My poor babies…I tried to explain it to them. 🙁

I will look away from the onions, but I’ll gladly come to your next book club if cheese is involved! The other day my store had a display – blue cheese mixed with honey and topped with chopped pecan – the combo was spectacular and was made to spread on crackers. I bought some blue cheese hoping to do the same thing at home, but turns out I just ate the blue cheese on a burger and plain on crostini. 😀

I have a stretching show taped on my DVR – it’s called “Classical Stretch” and I try to do 15 minutes a day of it – it helps with my plantar fascitis. 😀

The cheese tasting was a big hit. I might have to do it again.

I made a dessert once with sliced pears, goat cheese, toasted walnuts and drizzled honey. It was magnificent!

You must remedy that. I learned the hard way (injury).

It took me awhile to warm up to yoga too, but now I love it. I take a weekly class, and look forward to it all week long. Bob and I have been enjoying more wine and cheese pairings lately. We make a date night out of it….instead of going out, we select a couples of cheese and slice them up on a platter with olives, crudités and crackers. Pop open a bottle of wine and we’re set. 🙂

That’s cool that you like it now. I’m not quite to the looking forward to it all week stage yet but hopefully I will!

I love your date night idea. Fun!

I literally said the same thing about yoga a couple of weeks ago. I talked a mean game about how much I hated it, but then something clicked. I still don’t like that savasana business and the sit and breathe at the beginning (I could be doing SO MANY productive things!!), but the rest of it has really grown on me. 😉 Also those fajitas sound faaaabbb.

I am TOTALLY the same way! Being patient and not doing anything is HARD.

I wish I could say that I do, because when I did, I benefited greatly, but I just don’t do it. 🙁 Shame on me!

Have you thought of picking it up again?

I don’t know many cats that enjoy the vets. It was always quite a challenge to corral our cats to take them. They never wanted to go in the crate so we got separate large ones for each – and then those were too big to fit in the car! Lesson learned. 🙂

I went to yoga twice and really enjoyed it except I get a lot of wrist pain and all the planks and downward dogs were way too hard, so I had to stop going. I hope to be back again soon though!

After each Saturday class I take they always walk us through stretching. I’m always surprised by how many people pack up and scurry out – as if the 3 minutes of stretching will make them late to wherever they are going. I always feel much better the next day if I stretch properly after a hard workout.

Oh yes! I got a second carrier because it was too much of a struggle to get them both in one. And Fat Kitty is too big. 🙂

I get the same wrist pain with certain yoga stretches and with pushups. It’s annoying.
