LOVE tomato soup homemade. And that cornbread looks delicious. I’m having a craving now!

PS – We have teal counters too. I can’t wait to remodel!

Her cornbread is the BEST I’ve ever had. And tomato soup is one of my favorite soups in the winter time. Sometimes I had some pasta to it to add some bulk. That’s good too.

Why did people think teal was a good color?!? Man, the 70’s….

I used to hate tomato soup, but it has grown on me. My very favorite soup is lobster bisque. Yum! Any potato or clam chowder is also good.

Love the $5 thing, that is cute.

I love bisque anything! But then I tend to like cream-based soups.

Count me in on the tomato soup fan club!! Sounds and looks wonderful. I’m going to try this one. Do you think no-salt canned tomatoes would work just as well as the fresh ones here are disgusting right now.

I used canned tomatoes. It seemed to work alright. I do think something in the recipe needs to be tweeked to make it less tart. But I am reluctant to add a bunch of sugar…

I love that the tomato soup recipe doesn’t call for cream or anything. I’ll have to try it out!

Oooh…maybe cream would make the soup sweeter. Try the recipe and let me know what you change in it.
