Did you know that they make Onion Goggles! It’s true!

My secret for not crying? I took a knife skills class. When I learned how to chop an onion correctly (I didn’t know that there was a correct way!), it was much quicker and I find that I rarely cry now! I wonder if there is a You Tube video on that… 😉

They really make onion goggles? I am totally looking those up. And thanks for the tip on the knife skills. I’ll look for a video.

America’s Test Kitchen/Cook’s Kitchen did a product testing on all varieties of eye coverage to keep you from crying while cutting onions. If I’m not mistaken it was the onion goggles that did the best. The review would be on their website.

I love me some kettlebell workouts. The KB swing totally gets my lower back in ways I was never able to get before.

Yep! My lats were screaming after the kettle bells!

I’m really trying! Hopefully next Sunday I can do it again.

Too funny! I posted about french onion soup today, too! Great minds think alike! And I was crying, too. Holy cow–those onions are crazy to get all chopped up. But sooooo worth it.

I know! I saw your post and saved it to try later.

I’ve been idly thinking about kettlebells… Still undecided though.

I love onions! Onions and garlic would get added to nearly everything if I had my way. The crying doesn’t bother me so much. Then again I can’t chop an onion without eating chunks of it raw as I go. Love them!

I’m working on a post about kettle bells. Hopefully will have it done soon.

I use a SlapChop and it helps just get the whole process over quickly. Also, I use my scuba mask. No joke. I might look stupid but I won’t be crying!

Scuba mask! I want a photo of that! 🙂

lol I don’t even tell my fiance when I’m wearing it so he won’t catch me or attempt a photo op! 😉

My mother would take a plastic bag and put it over her head hooking the bottom around her glasses so the plastic just covered her hair and eyes. Pretty funny to look at. I am super-sensitive to onions though and cry all over the place. Not good. I’ve also hear of people who get those slap-chop machines or other gadgets that chop for them so they don’t have to, Might have to get one of those!

Oh wow, that’s creative and hilarious. Do you have a picture of that?!?! 🙂
