I loved the Sims! I had it for my mac and was totally addicted for a while. I kind of feel like that right now – a bit overwhelmed with too much crap going on and if I can just make it through until tomorrow, I know it will be much better. The time change is kind of kicking my ass, too. Hope your Monday goes smoothly!

      The Sims was SUPER ADDICTING!!!!

Hope you get some relief from your schedule soon too!

If you can find it in your neck of the woods, try it out. I think you’ll love it! The Rogue Chipotle Ale is great too.

I’ve never played the Sims, but know lots of people who do. Hope you feel better VERY soon Lisa.

Thanks Roz! I hope so too. I’m so over it! πŸ™

That park looks beautiful. Sounds like a lovely weekend, sorry it ended with you not feeling great. Girl’s weekends can be the best medicine for feeling overworked and burning the candle at both ends.

Burning the candle at both ends sums it up!

How odd – two of my Portland blogs talked about the Slide Inn on the same day! The other blogger had a good experience, though: http://talkeatdrinkportland.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-slide-inn.html

I’m kind of split between being an introvert and an extrovert – there are some weeks (months) when I’m constantly on the go, and it’s exhausting, but the right kind of time with the right friend really can help restore my sanity.

I saw that! I follow her blog too and was shocked she had a good experience. I don’t know what happened. But my friend hated her dish and didn’t eat it either. Weird!

I’m the same way. I like me ME time and I like being social. But too much me time gets me angsty. πŸ˜‰

Writing this post made me want to find the disc and play it again. πŸ˜€

Love all those photo’s. You’ve definitely have skill with the camera. Sounds like it was a great recharging weekend. Too bad you ended up ill from the poor food though. I hope you’re able to bounce back.

    Cheers!

p.s. I want that pear cider!

    1. Lisa Eirene

The cider was really good. It was crisp like a Pinot Grigio.
