I know exactly what you mean. A day off for me = “let’s see how many things can I get done today”.
Relaxing is not second nature to me, I only feel relaxed when everything is done!

Yes, you sum it up nicely. That’s 100% me!

    Very busy day off!

I love watching our cats dream. So cute watching their little paws twitch.

Aww that sounds cute. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in my cats.

I am the same way Lisa – I cannot just sit still because I do think “I should be doing this, etc.” But then the older I’ve gotten, I am much better at telling myself – just finish x,y & z and then you can relax. It works because I feel like I’ve accomplished something and the reward is relaxing!

That’s a good way to look at it. I just don’t know when to cut that list off!

The only way I feel that I can totally relax is if we are on vacation – I even feel guilty reading a book at home because there’s always some kind of laundry or clean up to be doing.

Even on vacation I can’t relax!!! I want to do things and see things….!
