I’ve been having sore calves lately too. I keep getting that dreaded charlie horse, and I’m not sure why. It hurts like a $%^%#!

Oh that sucks! I read that Charlie Horses are often dehydration. See if Gatorade helps.

I’m not having Charlie Horses, it’s more like a super tight calf muscle that hurts when I try to stretch it out. Yoga helped.

You can take potassium pills,or ofcourse bananas if you have charlie horses often. This was suggested to my exwife by her doctor..

Unfortunately it’s not a Charlie Horse, just a tight or pulled muscle. 🙁

My favorite yoga pose changes depend on the day 🙂 Tree is a great one though! Glad you got into your yoga groove.

Tree is my favorite pose. Downward dog helped stretch out my calf. I learned the Pigeon pose, which was hard but fun!

You have a bike trainer right? Even if it is a pain, get the bike on there and ride. You want the 75 mile ride to be fun and not something you have to really struggle with or feel really sore doing because it will make the last part of the ride really suck!

Or even ride the stationary bikes at the gym to get consistent miles in.

I thought about getting on the bike trainer and I might just have to do that tomorrow. Tomorrow was my bike to work day for this week and it looks like rain. The only problem is that the bike trainer really hurts my knee. 🙁

Hey! I’ve noticed you post several pictures of your watch. What kind is it or where would you say you got it? I’m looking for a good heart rate monitor type deal for myself. Thanks! You’re very inspiring. I look forward to reading your blog almost daily!

I’ve only done yoga once – with an at-home DVD. I am too wimpy for yoga at this point. 🙁

Good news? I got my workout in yesterday despite the ridiculous heat. Yay!

Bad news? The heat is still here! Go away already!!

You know you have made great progress if your dentist notices weight loss! 🙂

And I have such a hard time getting into yoga too, but always feel so much better after. It’s hard to be still!

She definitely improved my sour mood on Tuesday!!

I WANT to love yoga. I WANT to do it on a regular basis but it’s just so not something I like to do that much. I feel better after I do it but it’s hard…

I hope your calf starts feeling better!

I’m jealous of your rain. It has been super hot here over the last few weeks and my garden is seriously wilting because of it. My lettuce is super angry! But my zucchinis are thriving and I was able to eat 2 jalapeno peppers out of my garden last night. I was pretty excited about that!

You can have our rain!!!! Please take it! 🙂
