Haven’t tried that diet, but it always interests me how different each person is. sounds like you’re like me in that I have to have some carbs to have progress. Whenever I ate lower carb, it always backfired on me.

I don’t do well with low carb or no carb either. I have to have a little bit. I can cut out breads but I’m not going to cut out fruit.

I have not tried the Slow Carb diet specifically, but it kind of reminds me of the “fast oxidizer” type way of eating that Jillian Michaels talks about in Making The Cut.
I definitely do much better on a high protein diet. I don’t drink cows milk but I am addicted to greek yogurt so have never really gone dairy free – I guess I should try it sometime to see if it helps me lose weight, but dang … I love my Fage and raspberries!

I could never go dairy-free! I love dairy (probably too much). In fact I’m eating plain greek yogurt with raisins and agave for breakfast right now. 🙂
