Wow that looks like you had an amazing weekend! what a beautiful place and nice weather…its snowing here so I’m more than jealous 🙂
I’ve been craving a donut lately…not sure why I hardly ever eat them..but I’m planning to keep resisting since there really is nothing good for me about a donut, hopefully the craving will pass

I was jealous of everyone else’s snow back in January because we never get any. Now I’m ready for summer!

I think it will be up tomorrow.

The view from that hotel looks amazing! Glad your knee seems to be on the mend, too.

I hiked on Mount Hood last weekend for the first time and thought of you! I should stop procrastinating and write up a little trip report.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Cool! I look forward to reading your review of wherever you went.

I’m so jealous. I want to go on vacation, even a mini one. I love groupon for things like this. I’m craving a warm beach weekend!

    1. Lisa Eirene

You should look for a groupon getaway! Sometimes even one night away from home is all you need.

Those pictures of your hike are gorgeous!! I can’t wait to get out hiking this summer–I miss it. What a beautiful place to stay and reset over the weekend. Looking forward to the wine post!! 😉

Have you had the wings at Pok Pok? They sound like they would hit your craving perfectly, as you can get them with a spicy rub. I got an order at Pok Pok Noi (it’s closer to my home) and had enough wings for three meals of 2 wings each. omg so good. Now I have a craving!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I’ve been to Pok Pok once and had the boar collar with rice. It was THE hottest thing I have ever eaten in my entire life. Next time I’m there I’ll check out their wings though.

Whoa! Looks like you had a weekend… and a half!

I don’t think it was too wise checking this out considering I’ve just started a pretty savoury diet, my god it looks good!

Either way, it’s nice to know that you had a lovely weekend, it sure looks like you did!

    Have a wonderful day 🙂

    1. Lisa Eirene

It was definitely nice. And needed!

What a lovely get away! I am craving buttercream icing big time. I think it was because I got on my bike last week and didn’t have a cupcake LOL!

    1. Lisa Eirene

Mmmm that sounds pretty good too!

That picture of the bridge was amazing! I had to pin it! Can I even say that and still be considered a man?

    Oh well, too late.

Lookin’ forward to the wine post. Then maybe a single malt scotch post someday? To make me feel a little more manly . . .

    Cheers!

I wish! I don’t like scotch. Or whiskey. Michael is a whiskey drinker and recently discovered an Old Fashioned. I had a sip and it was pretty good. But when it comes to liquor I stick with vodka.

What an awesome mini vacation! Beautiful! Oh I’m craving that cheesecake you had!

    1. Lisa Eirene

      It was fantastic cheesecake!
