Happy birthday!! It’s funny, I am usually so excited about my birthday too – but I had my daughter on March 7 and I turned 24 on March 19. It was like all of a sudden at my birthday I was like “hold up – wow, things are going to be so different now!”

I was young and stupid, but after that first birthday after I had Hannah I went back to celebrating mine too – and do Hannah’s up big too – can’t believe my baby girl is going to be TWENTY FOUR. The same age I was 12 days after I had Hannah.

Hannah has no interest for kids at this point in her life – which I am thankful, because I think you need to live a little before having a kid. She graduated high school in 2010 and at least a dozen kids have kids and one of her friends is already divorced!

Glad you got a last getaway too 😀

      Thank you! 🙂
Maybe it was blah because we didn’t really plan anything for the actual day, or maybe I’m just focused on other things and not that excited about my birthday. Not sure. I know one thing is for sure, next year I’m going back to taking the day off. I hate working on my birthday!

That’s great that Hannah isn’t ready for any of that stuff yet. I know for myself I changed a lot in my 20’s and early 30’s and I’m glad I never got married or had kids until I was really ready (even though in your 20’s you THINK you are ready)…

    Happy belated birthday!

I hardly ever celebrate my birthday although we usually go out for dinner on the day. In a couple of years I’m turning 50, same year as the hub and we will celebrate that.

    That cheesecake …. yum

You guys should definitely go all out for your 50th!

The cheesecake was great! It made me want more, though. 😉
