Ugh, I hate it when the power goes out! It’s amazing how dependent we are on our electricity!

I hope everything is back to working order!!

      Let’s hope it’s resolved soon!

I recently drank a whole beer for the first time in FOREVER. It was the Sierra Nevada Glissade Bock, and it was awesome. Boy, was I wasted though. Also, very surprised I wasn’t more hungover after the auction where I drank about 3 glasses of white wine, but it was good wine and I’d eaten a nice dinner. I hate being hungover. It used to be so bad that it just wasn’t worth drinking, nevermind the calories. Chris NEVER gets hungover, and I’m so jealous.

So sorry about your electricity issues. Was it throughout the neighborhood, or is your house having issues?

I’m rarely hungover so that’s a good thing. I don’t think I’ve tried a Bock… I like some of the Sierra Nevada Pale Ales.

Haha – I am such a light weight now with drinking. I used to be able to drink anyone under the table. 6 beers a night 5 or 6 nights a week when I was in college was normal.

I love the mixed drinks, too. Those cheap well drinks of White Russians, fuzzy navels, mai tais that used to be $1 each (old college days, not sure what they would be now). I’d have 9 of those a night!

Now half a beer gives me a buzz. I like beer, but I rarely drink my calories as I would rather have food.

I was wondering about my readers who have lost a significant amount of weight. In my early 20’s when I was really big I’d be drinking a bottle of wine to get buzzed. It’s crazy how that’s changed! One glass is my limit nowadays.

Now I drink about 2-3 nights a week (usually weekends) but it’s more often than not just one glass of wine. That’s kind of my max now.

I’ve cut back my drinking to 1-2 nights a week, if that, and since I’ve started losing weight, I’ve noticed my tolerance go down substantially. I’m not quite a lightweight yet, but for a girl who used to outdrink the boys, I’ll go out and have 3-4 beers, and be pretty drunk 🙂 I’m not complaining though, It’s a lot cheaper!

YEP! I am a very cheap date now. LOL

I have not stopped drinking alcohol during my weightloss. But I can already tell with 35lbs down how much less alcohol I can stand to drink. Way less, its crazy.

Wow, even 35 pounds makes a big difference? That’s crazy! In a good way, too.
